Chelsea winger, Florent Malouda, said she last long even if I have to end his career at London club. He wants to veteran players like Manchester United, Ryan Giggs, loyal to his club until the end of his career.
Currently Malouda still had two years remaining on his contract. French players are also expected soon extend it. However, there are no signs of the club to offer new contracts to Malouda. In fact, word got out that Chelsea Malouda prepares to dump because the votes are not worth it anymore.
"I just want to feel an important part in the club. Sometimes I do not feel that way when I read the media (UK) which says that the club wanted to sell me. In fact, I know have done up to here," said Malouda told the Daily Telegraph.
"I want to be Ryan Giggs his Chelsea! I would like to extend my contract until 2014. The club promised that because I've aged more than 30 years. However, I have to wait until the last year prior to extending my contract," he said.
He added, "The question in my mind, whether the club want me to stay? I wait for signals from the club. I very much appreciated by the manager (Carlo Ancelotti), but I also need the support of the club."
Malouda is actually quite a big contribution to Chelsea this season. Of 46 games that he lived in all competitions, he scored 14 goals.
